Who is responsible for the content
Leon Bock, sole proprietor, is responsible (details in the legal notice). He decides what gets published.
How the knowledge pages are made
The knowledge pages are made with the help of AI. AI agents read primary sources such as vendor documentation, standards and project pages, and write the texts to a fixed style. Every page lists its sources and the date of its content.
Leon Bock reads the texts and decides what gets published. More reviewers from his professional and personal network are meant to join. Each page shows a review state instead of a blanket “reviewed”: it shows what is documented. AI can be wrong; sources and review state are shown so you can judge for yourself.
What the review states mean
As of today, no entry carries a documented review record; all full texts are “source-based”.
- Foundation, still being expanded: an outline without full text. Not in the search index.
- Source-based, no review record yet: full text that relies on the sources listed. There is no documented independent review.
- Documented editorial source review: a party other than the author compared exactly this version with the sources. Reviewer, date and record are shown on the page. If the text or the source list changes, the record lapses until the entry is reviewed again. This is not a certification.
- With documented lab report: a report on our own measurement or test exists.
When an entry appears in search engines
Entries are offered to search engines only if they meet minimum values: at least 900 words in the English and 800 in the German version, and at least 5 sources. Entries below that stay reachable, are marked “being reworked” and are not listed.
The bar is no proof of quality; it only keeps out thin material. We do not lower it to let a single entry through. Ads are excluded on pages without a documented review record.
Examples and our own measurements
We label examples and worked calculations as examples. We state our own measurements only once the raw data exists; the entry then links to the lab report.
Reporting errors
Please send errors and notes to support@bytearium.com, ideally with a source. We correct the entry and reset its content date.
